I would like to major in music education and become an elementary music teacher. |
Top Bowling Match:
That’s a tough one, but would honestly have to say the semi-finals of the regional tournament this year, because it was the last time that I got to bowl in a high school match with my teammates. I would also include the final regular season match because that is when I learned that I would qualify for the TSSAA state individual tournament.
How has bowling helped you as a person? Bowling has taught me many lessons about life, like how to work with others, how to balance my time, and how to overcome adversities (because we all know that in bowling the pins don’t always fall like we want them to). It has also allowed me to develop many friendships along the way by meeting many other high school bowlers throughout the state and even the nation with Jr. Gold.
Who are your role models and what motivates you? My parents, definitely are my some of my role models. They are there by my side for celebrations, while at the same time encouraging me along the way. I always want to strive to do my best, while helping others that I cross paths with.
Anything else you would like others to know about you? While extra-curricular activities are important, I also strive to do my best in the classroom. I have been involved in many activities for all four years of high school (band, color guard, chorus, and bowling) and was still able to take several upper level classes and still maintain a 3.7 GPA.
