Top Bowling Match:
Last year at state, we were going against Friendship Christian in the semifinals. They were the two-time defending state champions and a very good team. The atmosphere was out of this world during this match. I remember i had to go up against the number 1 bowler in Tennessee, Donny Turner, and I was up for the challenge. I won the first game and lost the other two. Even though I lost those games, I was proud of myself because i was able to make the best bowler bowl his best to beat me at state.  The match was somewhat of a heated rivalry. We wanted to beat them so badly and they wanted to beat us. I was so happy that we beat the two-time defending state champions. I couldn't have done it without my team.

How has bowling helped you as a person:
Bowling has helped me tremendously ever since I started bowling in my 8th grade year. When I first started, I was a very shy person, I never really talked to people outside of school. When I started league that year, I met so many wonderful people. They helped me get to where I am at right now with my bowling game and still keep improving every single time I practice.

What have you gained from attending St Benedict:
St. Benedict had done so much to me, especially for bowling. I came to St. Benedict for a great education and that's what I've gotten since I've been here. St. Benedict has also been known to have one if the best bowling programs in the state of Tennessee with 10 state titles all together with the girls having 7 of those and the boys having 3 of them. I was a part of last years state championship win. I came to St. Benedict hoping to win a state championship and i want to win more for the school as well. I always hope that I can be an individual champion as well to make myself proud. While I've been at St. Benedict, I've met some of the best people I've ever met before. My closest friends give me so much support and that's all I could ever ask for from my closest friends.

I also want to tell a story from my freshman year and that still goes on today. Our first match at Cordova bowling center against Harding, I was so nervous because I wanted to show the team what I can do under a pressure situation. I was literally shaking I was so nervous. So my first ball that I threw, I hit the pocket and a 9 pin was standing, and out of nowhere, a pin came over and knocked it down so I was so excited and I yelled out loud "Let's Go." Now my group of friends when they always see me, they walk up to me and say "Let's Go."
