Top Bowling Match:
My favorite match that I participated in was the finals in a road to gold tournament in Johnson City TN. The reason why it is my favorite because the game before the finals one of the kids told me he was going to crush me if I make it to the finals, so that game I bowled a 232 to show him I wasn’t messing around. Then in the finals it was just me and him, Although I don’t remember the exact scores I do know my first game was around 170 and his was around 140, then the second game he bowled a 142 and I bowled a 141 so I still won by at least 20 pins because It was the total of two games. At first I was really upset because he had never watched me bowl previous to that and assumed that I was a bad bowler, but in the end I think he motivated me to try harder and win another championship.
Jr Gold Tournament:
Junior Gold was phenomenal. To win a spot to be among the best Youth Bowlers was awesome. A true blessing. This was my 3rd year and I keep getting better each year. This year I was in a camp run by Mike Ransom and David McGowan with help from my coach Jason Day. Another reason why I place 16th is because God allows my mom to take me to different youth tournaments in Georgia, Tennessee and Kentucky.
Bowling Experience/Influences:
Bowling has helped me become a better person because it taught me how to have a perfect balance of confidence and sportsmanship. All the coaches that I have I really appreciate the help that they have given me throughout the years in making me not only a better bowler, but a better person. My granddaddy is my role model because he is a very godly man who is friendly and always wants to help out; I am a Christian and proud of it and I want to be like him when I grow up. My mom and my nana are my biggest motivators because they come to all of my tournament and cheer me on at all times.
